No, they don’t.
System automations themselves do not count toward your billing or incur any additional charges. System automations include things like confirmation emails and manage preference emails etc.
Email Sending Within Automations
Any automation that includes a “Send Email” action will still count toward your monthly email sending quota.
This means emails sent through automated workflows are treated the same as emails sent through standard campaigns when calculating your monthly usage.
